I’ve always enjoyed the sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf, with its lovable flawed characters. Although this was a good read, I felt like I’d already heard or seen most of this before, including most of the lines, put-downs and clever quips.
I think I missed whether this was all set in an alternative universe, and whether it was a prequel in that universe or all. I think it was, but I may not have been paying attention at the right moment. I’m not sure I understood the ending properly either, but probably for the same reason.
